Atlanta Defeats New York 34-7 - Recap
The battle between the Falcons and Giants didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as New York was handed a 34-7 defeat on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Falcons were a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 42.5.
Bijan Robinson rushed for 94 yards, while Tyler Allgeier added 22 yards in the win. Darnell Mooney and Drake London added 82 and 59 receiving yards respectively.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for 26 yards for New York, while Devin Singletary added 12 yards. Drew Lock threw for 210 yards for the Giants, while receivers Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson had 68 and 62 yards respectively.
New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Atlanta 329-234 yards in Sunday's game. Atlanta had more first downs as that total ended up 22-14.
The time of possession battle favored Atlanta as their offense was on the field for 34:28, longer than the 25:32 of their opponents.
Next game, Atlanta takes its act on the road to face Washington looking for another win. For New York, they head home to face Indianapolis.
