New York Falls 3-2 to Kraken - Recap

Justin Schultz was the difference, potting a pair for Seattle on Thursday as the Kraken skated off with a 3-2 victory over the Rangers at Climate Pledge Arena.

Seattle won as a +125 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Justin Schultz(2), and Jared McCann each scored for the Kraken in the victory. McCann opened the scoring for Seattle.

Martin Jones turned in a 28-save effort for the Kraken.

New York got goals from Mika Zibanejad, and Vincent Trocheck in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Igor Shesterkin stopped 29 of 32 shots for the Rangers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Seattle went 0-for-4, while the Rangers were 2-for-4 with the man advantage.

New York lost the shots on goal battle to Seattle by a margin of 32-30.

Next game, Seattle takes its act home to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face San Jose.
