Vancouver Skates Past Dallas 5-4 - Recap

Vancouver got a pair of goals from Anthony Beauvillier as the Canucks skated to a 5-4 victory over Dallas on Monday at American Airlines Center.

Vancouver won as a +234 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Anthony Beauvillier(2), Vasily Podkolzin, Sheldon Dries, and Andrei Kuzmenko each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Beauvillier opened the scoring for Vancouver.

Thatcher Demko stopped 34 of 38 Dallas shots in the victory.

Dallas got goals from Nils Lundkvist, Roope Hintz, Jamie Benn, and Evgenii Dadonov in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Dallas got a 16-stop effort from Jake Oettinger in the loss.

On the power play, Vancouver went 1-for-3, while the Stars were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Dallas outshot Vancouver 38-21 in the game.

Next game, Vancouver takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Dallas, they head home to face Arizona.
