Columbus Falls 5-2 to Sabres - Recap

Buffalo skated to a 5-2 victory over Columbus on Friday in NHL action at Nationwide Arena.

The Sabres were a -183 favorite in the win. The combined score pushed PUSH the total, which closed at 7.0.

Buffalo got goals from Alex Tuch, Victor Olofsson, Jeff Skinner, Casey Mittelstadt, and Peyton Krebs in the victory. Skinner opened the scoring at 8:36 of the second period.

Devon Levi turned in a 29-save effort for the Sabres.

Tyler Angle, and Johnny Gaudreau scored for the Blue Jackets, finding the net behind Devon Levi.

Columbus got a 24-stop effort from Jon Gillies in the loss.

On the power play, Buffalo went 0-for-1, while the Blue Jackets were 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Buffalo outshot Columbus 35-31 in the game.
