Recap - Flames Defeat Minnesota 4-3

Calgary earned a 4-3 victory over Minnesota on Saturday, but needed a shootout to do it at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Martin Pospisil, Kevin Rooney, and Yegor Sharangovich each scored for the Flames in the victory. Rooney opened the scoring for Calgary.

Dan Vladar turned in a 20-save effort for the Flames.

Marcus Johansson, Brock Faber, and Marco Rossi scored for the Wild, finding the net behind Dan Vladar.

Filip Gustavsson stopped 28 of 31 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Calgary went 2-for-2, while the Wild were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Calgary outshot Minnesota 31-23 in the game.

Calgary heads into a battle against the Senators. Minnesota, meanwhile, will have their next action against Winnipeg.
