New York Falls 4-0 to Hurricanes - Recap

New York was shut out 4-0 on Tuesday, stoned by Pyotr Kochetkov who stopped all 32 shots fired his way.

Ilya Sorokin stopped 19 of 23 shots for the Islanders, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Carolina went 1-for-2, while the Islanders were 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Carolina lost the shots on goal battle to New York by a margin of 32-29.

Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Capitals. The Islanders will aim to get back on the winning track at Toronto.
