New York Falls 3-2 to Avalanche - Recap

The Avalanche earned a 3-2 victory over the Rangers on Tuesday at Ball Arena.

MacKenzie Blackwood turned in a 27-save effort for the Avalanche.

Sam Carrick, and Adam Edstrom scored for the Rangers, finding the net behind MacKenzie Blackwood.

Igor Shesterkin stopped 23 of 26 shots for the Rangers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 0-for-3, while the Rangers were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Colorado lost the shots on goal battle to New York by a margin of 29-26.

Colorado looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oilers. The Rangers will aim to get back on the winning track at Utah.
