Boston Falls 6-2 to Ducks - Recap

Leo Carlsson was the difference, potting a pair for Anaheim on Wednesday as the Ducks skated off with a 6-2 victory over the Bruins at Honda Center.

Anaheim won as a -140 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Leo Carlsson(2), Mason McTavish, Jackson LaCombe, Nikita Nesterenko, and Cutter Gauthier each scored for the Ducks in the victory. Carlsson opened the scoring for Anaheim.

John Gibson turned in a 23-save effort for the Ducks.

Boston got goals from David Pastrnak, and Morgan Geekie in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Joonas Korpisalo stopped 31 of 37 shots for the Bruins, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Anaheim went 0-for-3, while the Bruins were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Boston lost the shots on goal battle to Anaheim by a margin of 37-25.

Next game, Anaheim takes its act home to face New York looking for another win. For Boston, they head on the road to face Detroit.
