tale of two
Las Vegas - This is a tale of two cities, more appropriately, two pitchers. Baltimore's Tyler Wells has NOT lost a game since May 25, and is working on a 6-0 run. Even more impressive is his last four starts. If you're ready for some mouth watering numbers, he has allowed only 3 earned runs over the last 22 innings for a gorgeous 1.23 ERA. In the other dugout, Michael Lorenzen has been on a huge downward spiral. Specifically, the last three times out. Lorenzen has lost all three and been BOMBED for 19 hits and 16 earned runs in just 11 innings. When you're bringing a 13.09 ERA to the hill, yea, THIRTEEN POINT OH NINE, emphasis on the OH, that's an issue. Birds for the money.
