Las Vegas - Amazing job by coach Kenny Dillingham at Arizona State guiding the Sun Devils to a fantastic 11-2 record and the Big 12 title. It was done with the right arm of QB Sam Leavitt and the legs of RB Cam Skattebo. In his his first season in Tempe, Leavitt hit on 192 of 304 passes (63.2%) for 2,663 yards with 24 TDs and just 5 INTs. He also rambled for 383 yards on the ground and is a true dual threat. Speaking of the ground, Skattebo gobbled up 1,568 yards and scored 19 TDs. Just not thrilled that he started yapping at Texas and said, "They continue to keep saying that people are going to try to stop me. There's nobody out there that can stop me." Okay Cam, we know you're good but it's time to ZIP it. Gimme the double digit dog for the money.

So, Oregon is the #1 team in the land, has pitched a 13-0 PERFECTO, beat Ohio State back in October 32-21, and comes in as an underdog. WHAT? Really conflicted about this game because there is an argument to be made for each side. So, the plan is to sit back and watch and move on to the Sugar Bowl.

Notre Dame comes in to New Orleans after beating Indiana 27-17 in the first round while Georgia heads to Bourbon Street with backup QB Gunner Stockton replacing Carson Beck. Nothing against Stockton, but the last time we looked, he had NOT won TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Gunner might be the next one, we don't know, but don't think it'll be against the Fighting Irish. Doing the River Dance all the way to the bank.
