usa all the way
Las Vegas - ALL OVER the Red, White & Blue today against Panama. Sure you'll have to lay around -$250, but these kids are determined to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar. And while it might not look pretty, the USA side has been very, VERY STINGY. They have allowed only two goals in their last five matches, and both were scored by Canada. This is also a revenge game since Los Canaleros (The Canal Men) beat the U.S. 1-0 in Panama City back in October. Oh yea. Forgot to mention that the Stars & Stripes are FOUR & OH at Exploria Stadium in Orlando. Oh yea. Also forgot to mention that the USA is UNBEATEN in TWENTY matches (wins & draws) played on our home dirt/grass. Red, White & Blue for the win, and will also drop a few pennies on the draw at +$350 just in case.
Oh yea, heard that there were two college hoop games today, and Cinderella is still at the Dance.
First the early game between Kansas and Miami-Florida. The big bad Jayhawks come in as the #1 seed against the Miami club that was seeded at #10. No one had any interest in the Hurricanes, or, thought they would advance this far. Even their folks in the ACC pegged the 'Canes as the #13 team in the conference back in October. WHAT! But they have this guy from the Bronx, Jim Larranaga, and he knows how to get his coach ON! We have seen mostly 6 points, but there are some 6.5s out there, specifically at the Wynn and Mirage here in Vegas. Find the +6.5, buy the hook to +7 and hold on as these Hurricanes keep this tight to the final buzzer. Just looked at the line, and it's dropped ALL THE WAY down to Kansas -5.5. So, we would have lighten up the wager from a Hurricane to a medium tickle!
In the late game, totally conflicted. LOVE what Shaheen Holloway and St. Peter's are doing while wearing the glass slippers, but think that the clock is about to strike midnight. Not sure if laying 8.5 points with the Tar Heels is the right way to go, but they have the talent to win the game. Would look at Carolina on the money line, it'll be expensive, but that's where we're putting our chips.
