Hockey & Hoops Betting this Week

The San Antonio Spurs are 17-2 SU and 12-5-2 ATS in their last 19 games against the Golden State Warriors, and they’ll look to continue that dominance when they host the Warriors in Game 1 this Monday.

San Antonio made quick work of the Los Angeles Lakers going 4-0 SU and ATS in a quick and efficient sweep. Golden State went a perfect 6-0 ATS in upsetting Denver in six games. San Antonio is an 8.5-point favorite on Monday at Bovada.

The Miami Heat also took care of their first-round matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks in a sweep (3-1 ATS) and will now host the Chicago Bulls in Game 1; the Bulls defeated Brooklyn in seven games in Round 1. Miami is an 11.5-point favorite in Monday night’s Game 1 at Bovada.

Tuesday night, Oklahoma City is a 2.5-point favorite hosting the Memphis Grizzlies and the New York Knicks are a 5.5-point favorite hosting the Indiana Pacers (with both lines provided by 5Dimes). Oklahoma City took the 1-0 series lead Sunday while Indiana upset New York to take the 1-0 lead in that series.

Wednesday night Chicago at Miami and Golden State at San Antonio will play their Game 2s.

The Washington Capitals entered the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in hockey on an 11-2 run, and that play has carried over into the playoffs as the Capitals have taken a 2-0 series lead on the New York Rangers. They’ll try to keep things rolling in New York as a +130 underdog at 5Dimes (the Rangers are a -140 home favorite). Monday’s other games include Boston Bruins (-125) at Toronto Maple Leafs (+115) Game 3, Anaheim Ducks (+115) at Detroit Red Wings (-125) Game 4, and St. Louis Blues (+135) at Los Angeles Kings (-145) Game 4.

Tuesday night’s hockey slate features the following Game 4s: Montreal Canadiens at Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks at Minnesota Wild, and Vancouver Canucks at San Jose Sharks.

All of Monday night’s series will play their next game on Wednesday night, and all of Tuesday night’s games play their Game 5s on Thursday.

Two of baseball’s top teams will meet in interleague play when the New York Yankees visit the Colorado Rockies in a three-game series starting on Tuesday. Hiroki Kuroda and Jorge De La Rosa are expected to take the mound on Tuesday.
