NFL Conference Championship Games on Deck

The NFL is down to its final four teams in this season’s Super Bowl Derby and things have gone pretty much according to plan with all four favorites winning their games straight-up in this past weekend’s divisional round of the playoffs. Seattle and Denver both won but failed to cover big spreads at home, while New England and San Francisco won their games both SU and against the spread.

Turning to this upcoming Sunday’s conference championships, the first game on the slate has the Patriots on the road against Denver as 4.5-point underdogs on 5Dimes opening betting line for this game. The total has been set at 55. These two AFC rivals have already met once this season with New England coming away with a thrilling 34-31 victory in overtime as a 1-point home favorite in Week 12.

The 49ers will be making their third straight trip to the NFC Championship with a 1-1 SU record in the first two contests. They will head into CenturyLink Field as 3.5-point underdogs on the early betting line for this showdown against their NFC West rival. Seattle cruised to a 29-3 victory in Week 2 as a 3-point home favorite the first time they met, but San Francisco evened the score with a 19-17 win on Dec. 8 as a 2.5-point home favorite. The total stayed UNDER in both games and it has been set at 39.5 for Sunday’s contest.
