Las Vegas - Is UCLA still thinking about the 2021 tournament when Gonzaga knocked the Bruins out in a spectacular Final Four OT game? You BET! And yes, we ARE betting. The number is sitting at UCLA -1.5 and we expect the kids from L.A. to get their pound of flesh. The West Regional is in Las Vegas, and since both teams played their conference tournament in Vegas, no edge for either squad. However, Gonzaga's last two wins did not really impress.

Las Vegas - TWENTY long years in the wilderness, but SlamBall is finally back. If you've never witnessed this GLORIOUS spectacle, just head to YouTube and type in SlamBall. You WILL NOT be disappointed! What is SlamBall? Think UFC vs. the NBA vs. the NFL, on FREAKIN' TRAMPOLINES! After a 20-year hiatus, the league is making a comeback! It is scheduled to start in July with a six-week regular season and a one-week playoff in Vegas baby!

Las Vegas - Gotta chime in with the BAD BEAT crowd. Yup, we had Gonzaga -4 points over TCU on Sunday, and the Zags were up SIX points with 0.7 on the clock. That's ZERO POINT FREAKIN' SEVEN. My kids told me that's LESS than a second. TCU inbounds the ball, and the kid lets it run past half court with the clock still not started. He picks it up and fires a trey from the FREAKIN' logo. SWISH! I'm DEAD! Final, Gonzaga 84-81. TRULY one of the worst beats in the last 40+ years.

Las Vegas - If you're thinking it's too early for baseball, it AIN'T! Watched the USA/Venezuela game on Saturday night, and when Trea Turner hit a grand slam to win the game, it was NUTZ! Tonight, it's Japan vs. Mexico, and while Shohei Ohtani probably will not pitch, his bat is gonna be good for at least a couple of knocks. Gimme Japan for the win, but just a tickle.
