Las Vegas - You know that I like San Francisco's Logan Webb, even dropped some cash on him to win the Cy Young last season, but Dylan Cease is another kind of animal. In his first start this season, Cease went 6 innings, allowed 1 earned run and posted 10 Ks. And that was on the road at Houston, not a shabby team. At home in Chicago, Dylan was BREATHTAKING in 2022. In his last 13 starts in the Windy City, he allowed ONLY 12 earned runs over 81 innings. That translates to a skinny 1.33 ERA.

Las Vegas - Dribbling out to the Windy City and gonna try the Bulls over the Hawks tonight. Looks like both teams are probably gonna make the playoffs, at least the play-in games, but these two teams will be fighting for home court. Atlanta has been like a yo-yo the last few weeks. Since March 17, the Hawks have followed every win with a loss. The last time out, the Hawks won against Dallas, so, obviously, another loss is just 48 minutes away.

Las Vegas - Connecticut has basically obliterated every thing in its path, winning and covering all five games at the Big Dance. Had the Huskies in both games last weekend, then, like a DUMMY, tickled Miami on Saturday. OOPS! Connecticut is winning by an average of 20.6 points per game, and the spread is ONLY 7.5. Hmmmmm. Jeff Sagarin has UConn 5.5 better than San Diego State. KenPom make Connecticut 9 points better and my power ratings have the Huskies 8 points clear.

Las Vegas - Normally don't drop any cash on women's college hoops, but this run by Caitlin Clark and Iowa has been STUNNING! Not gonna get crazy, drop maybe 1/4 of a normal bet, but as long as Double C is on the court, gotta think that the Hawkeyes are gonna lift the trophy. If you have not seen her play, just think Steph Curry with longer hair. She makes shots from the logo like they're layups, and dishes out dimes like John Stockton.

Las Vegas- Gotta throw some cash at the Final Four, and despite making a bundle off Connecticut last weekend, we’re turning to Miami +5.5 points. You know that we love Jim Larranaga, my guy from the Bronx, and think the Hurricanes can hang with anyone. But Eck, UConn has been DESTROYING the opposition, winning and covering all four games. And the final margins of 24 points, 15 points, 23 points and 28 points have been very impressive.
