Las Vegas - Gonna lace up the skates tonight and start with an appetizer down in Texas in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Stars come in BLAZING on a 6-0 run, while the Wild have lost five of the last seven. But the stat that put me over the top is Dallas' goal differential. The Stars have tickled the net 285 times and allowed 218 goals. That's a PLUS 67 goal differential, and that's THE BEST in the Western Conference.

If you have not seen the regular season results, here you go.

Monty is already 2-0 and threw seven innings worth of bagels at the Brewers the last time out. The Pirates send Vince Velasquez to the mound and he has not been able to win a game yet. Why? Double V has been pounded for 11 hits and 8 earned runs in just 7 innings of work and that's why we're taking St.
