Las Vegas - Gonna look at the Valero Alamo Bowl tonight between Washington and Texas. You have heard of Caleb Williams, C.J. Stroud, Stetson Bennett and J.J. McCarthy. Not sure if you're familiar with Michael Penix Jr. Lemme shed some light. He was only 8th in the Heisman voting, but Penix has numbers that are equal to or better than ALL of 'em. His total passing yards, 4,354, are the most in the country after a 12 game season. He has also hit at a 66% clip, with 29 TDs and just 7 INTs.

Las Vegas - Taking a look at the Military Bowl between Duke and Central Florida, and this game hinges on the health of UCF QB John Rhys Plumlee. JRP had a hamstring issue in the AAC Championship game against Tulane, and was held to MINUS SEVEN yards on nine attempts. And the Knights lost big, 45-28. That's why the line switched from UCF -2.5 at the open, to Duke now -3 or -3.5 depending on where you shop.

Las Vegas - Okay, I'll admit that the name Kyle Vantrease was not in my Rolodex, or even on my radar. But lemme tell you a little about KVT. He played QB at Buffalo for five years and then rolled down South to play for Georgia Southern this season. Kyle is gonna be JACKED UP to play against his old team, and after checking in on his numbers, we're a little jacked as well. Vantrease started 12 games, had a completion rate of 61.3%, for 3,895 yards, with 25 TDs and 15 INTs.
