Las Vegas - Is one Pippen enough to carry Vanderbilt to Madison Square Garden and the Final 4 of the NIT Tournament? After dropping 32 points against Dayton, we know that Scottie Pippen Jr. certainly has the right DNA and while he might not win SIX NBA rings, a cover against Xavier is a distinct possibility. The Commodores have been playing really solid ball, winning and COVERING five of the last six. The Musketeers have won three of the last four, but have covered only two of the last nine.

Love what Chris Beard has done at every stop of his coaching career, except his cup of coffee at UNLV. He took the UNLV job on March 27, 2016, then left on April 15, 2016 to take the vacant Texas Tech position. Other than that, the guy is a stone-cold winner with a lifetime 229-96 (.705) record. But his Longhorns are still a year away from a top shelf team.
