Las Vegas - Notre Dame getting 14.5 points, yea, FOURTEEN and a HOOK, looks very tasty. The last time these two met back in 2017, the Fighting Irish (-5) lost to Georgia at home, 20-19. Flash forward to last season when Irish QB Ian Book was exceptional against ranked teams, completing almost 69% of his passes with 8 TDs and 2 INTs. Then there was the Clemson game in the College Football Playoffs, when the Tigers mauled a 12-0 Notre Dame squad, 30-3. Mixed emotions.

Las Vegas - Looked over the college slate tonight, and while the spreads don't thrill me, I'm thinking about going in another direction. Don't get crazy, and don't call me names, but how about a three team money line parlay. Taking Utah over USC, Louisiana Tech over Florida International and Boise State over Air Force. And all they have to do is win. By one point or thirty, just win babbeeee!!!

Las Vegas - Talked to my man Tony DiTommaso, the head honcho at CG Technology sportsbooks here in Vegas. And when I say sportsbooks, plural, I’m talking the Venetian, the Cosmopolitan, the Palazzo, the Hard Rock, the Palms, the Tropicana and Silverton. Double T is VERY creative with his props. You know about the over/under season win totals, which are basically set in stone once the season starts. Well, NOTHING is set in stone with Tony.

Las Vegas - It took Dallas Keuchel a few months to hook on with a team, and he hooked a winner. Not only did he sign for $13 million, he is sitting on top of the National League East with Atlanta, and will be pitching in the playoffs once again. It took Keuchel a few weeks to get back up to speed, but boy is he ever twirling. Since August 14, Dallas has won five in a row, and allowed only 4 earned runs over the last 37 innings for a skinny 0.98 ERA.

Las Vegas - Actually LOVED the Browns when the game opened -2.5. Of course, the line jumped four points when it was announced that Jets QB Sam Darnold would not play. Still on the Brownies but it goes from love to like. Trevor Siemian gets the start for New York, and that's always problematic. He has not thrown a pass in a real game since 2017 in a Broncos uniform. And if you don't have Denver's 2017 stats available, the Broncs were 5-11, and Siemian tossed 12 TDs, but had 14 INTs.
