Las Vegas - Not quite sure what's happening with the Mets, but BOY, did GM Brodie Van Wagenen make the right decision to stand pat at the trade deadline. On July 25, the New Yorkers started winning, and rolled off five straight Ws leading up to the 31st. Apparently, BVW saw something we didn't, and he decided not to sell any assets. Great move. The Mets have continued scorching, winning 6 of the last 7 since the deadline.

Las Vegas - Gonna take a look at Cleveland tonight with Mike Clevinger over the Angels. Looks like Los Angeles will start either Dillon Peters or Felix Pena. Either one is fine with me as long as the Indians send out Clevinger. Cleveland is breathing down Minnesota's collective neck, and should stay hot at home. And we love what Clevinger has been spinning. He has won four in a row and allowed only 6 earned runs over the last 31 innings for a skinny 1.74 ERA.
