Las Vegas - They still don't have a proper name yet, but the Utah Hockey Club is closing out the season on a heater. If they asked me, it would be the Utah Outlaws. In any case, this is the final home game for the Hockey Club and they have won four of the last five and have gone Over in seven of the last 11 games. The Predators are finishing the year on a sour note, losing six of their last seven. Nashville is just a tad above average on its home ice in Tennessee (19-17-3), but on the road, the Preds have an UGLY 9-25-5 record. Utah had to eat a 4-0 bagel the last time they saw the Predators, but that was IN Nashville. Home finale + a little revenge = a sweet W in Salt Lake City.

Jumping on to the MLB board for a look at the Braves/Phillies game. Chris Sale gets most of the ink down in Atlanta and rightly so, but there's a kid you might wanna get to know. Whole lotta letters and tough to spell, but Spencer Schwellenbach can pitch. Double S has had two starts this season and put 14 innings worth of bagels on the board. A zero point zero zero ERA ain't gonna last all season, but right know, he's rocking. If the Braves beat Philly last night, then we would still open the wallet in the ATL, but just slice the bet in half.
