green wave
Las Vegas - If you're wondering why the Chicago/Tampa Bay game dropped like a rock, from an open of -6, all the way down to -3.5, and even -3 at some sportsbooks, ask the sharps/wise guys/pros. Apparently, they're all over Da Bears, thinking that, actually, not sure what they're thinking. So, you gonna follow the money??? Both teams are 3-1, and obviously, Tom Brady is light years ahead of Nick Foles, but there are significant injury problems. TB12 will most likely be without RBs Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy, as well as WRs Chris Goodwin, Mike Evans and TE O.J. Howard. Woulda had a lean to Da Bears at +6 points, but with the line down to +3.5, not gonna open the wallet.
However, will open the wallet for the college football game tonight between Tulane and Houston. GOTTA surf with the Green Wave, Tulane, +7 points against Houston. The Wave might not be the best college team out there, but they have played THREE times and won two, while the Cougars have NOT stepped on the field yet in anger. YUGE edge to the Wave! Tulane scored 66 points against Southern Mississippi in the last game, and while the Golden Eagles ain't the best team on the college board, 66 is still SIXTY SIX!!! At the crest of the Wave, coach Willie Fritz has the kids from New Orleans moving in the right direction after years of losing. They've posted back-to-back 7-6 records with two bowl appearances and two wins. Tulane beat Houston last season 38-31, and that was WITH D'Eriq King at QB for the Cougars. D'Eriq is now playing at the U in Miami and is smack in the middle of the Heisman Trophy chatter. NO King, NO games played = NO CHANCE! Green is the key word here, as in Wave, and, as in MONEY!!!
Simple explanation for the LSU/Missouri line that moved six points from an open of -20 down to -14, and it had nothing to do with an injury. Due to the approaching Hurricane Delta, they switched home fields, moving the game from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Columbia, Missouri.
