Las Vegas - John Harbaugh was on the way to 3-0, then there was LIGHTNING. The Eagles- Ravens game was suspended at 11:53 of the 4th quarter, which made the game a wash. The standing rule is, a game must go 55 minutes for it to be official. That woulda been a 3-0 preseason perfecto for Harbaugh, but Baltimore bettors had to settle for a refund instead. And of course, every loyal Philly bettor that dropped cash on the Birds was THRILLED!!!

If you were not around the other day, this is how we're gonna rock the first game of the college football season. If you're a stats geek, you've probably seen this one. Florida is 27-1 in opening games the last 28 years. TWENTY SEVEN wins and only one loss. Very impressive yea. But when you schedule the Charleston Southerns of the world, a W is basically guaranteed. However, the one loss came against Michigan back in 2017, on, yes, a NEUTRAL FIELD. This game is in Orlando, and while it's closer to Gainesville than Miami, it's STILL a neutral field. Thinking that the Gators are gonna squeeze out a win, but with only one returning starter on the offensive line, give the cover to the Hurricanes (+7 points) and first year head coach Manny Diaz.

Looked at late night in Hawaii, and while we would like to jump on a double digit home dog, the Rainbow Warriors, the Pac 12 ('Zona Wildcats) just might be too much for a middle of the road Mountain West squad. Taking a hall pass.

It looks as if we will have a dry track for the Travers today. Dropping some love and cash on Code of Honor. He comes off a win in the Grade 3 Dwyer at Belmont and has been working really good leading up to this race. So we're throwing $50 on the nose, $25 to place, and $25 to show.
