Las Vegas - Is 17 points a bargain? After looking at all the stats, gotta say, OH YEA! Born & raised in New York, I've been a Giants fan since they played in the old Yankee Stadium. Even went to a few games, and sat in the cheap seats, and you could exit the stadium right from the field. Enough of me, and more of the Patriots. Yes, the Pats have played the weak sisters of the NFL for sure, posting a 5-0 record against teams that have a combined won/loss mark of 5-18. All the technical trends obviously favor New England. The Belichicks have outscored the opposition at home, 63-17. They have won 18 in a row and 53 of the last 59 at the Razor Blade, Gillette Stadium. And if you're worried about the double digit spread, DON'T. They've covered nine of the last 11 at home as a DD favorites. Then you look at the NYG. They're starting the rookie, Danny (Dimes) Jones, at QB and Double B is drooling all over his game plan. No Saquon Barkley at RB, while the other RB, Wayne Gallman, is listed as doubtful due to a concussion. Oh yea, WR Sterling Shepard is also doubtful after getting dinged against the Vikings last week. With so few weapons, and a defense that allowed Minny and Kirk Cousins OVER 500 yards, gotta think Tommy could get close to 900. Gonna push some chips into the middle of the table on the Brady Bunch, and the only reason it ain't a best bet is, wind & rain all over the forecast.
