Las Vegas - EXONERATION for Manchester City!!!

Looked it up and Merriam-Webster told me that exoneration occurs when the conviction for a crime is reversed, either through demonstration of innocence, a flaw in the conviction, or otherwise. What happened? City was handed a two year suspension by UEFA's club financial control body back in February for serious breaches of club licensing and financial fair play regulations. They appealed, and WON. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has overturned the suspension and reduced City's initial €30 million fine to €10 mil, and they will be allowed to play in next year's tournament.

So, pressure is OFF! How are the Citizens gonna respond today against Bournemouth? Tricky. They have to travel back to London on Saturday to play Arsenal in the semi-final of the FA Cup. Will manager Pep Guardiola change his 11? Rest some of his stars? Sitting at the keyboard on Tuesday, we're not sure yet. When you see the starting 11, if the big boys are featured, like Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and the Silvas, Bernardo and David, then we jump. If you don't see any of these names, then we scale back and just drop some chips on City to win the 1st half.

Also gonna look to take Tottenham over Newcastle United at a very reasonable price of -$135. Why? The Spurs are still in the mix for a top six finish and that would put 'em in the next Europa League tourney. The Magpies may have trouble finding motivation. They are sitting in the middle of the table, clear of relegation but with NO hope of grabbing a European spot. That's probably why the Pies lost the last two games, 5-0 to Man City and 2-1 to bottom feeder Watford.

The Spurs are sitting in 7th place on 52 points, with 14 wins, 11 losses and 10 draws. They've scored 54 goals and allowed 45 for a +9 goal differential. The Magpies are holding down the 13th slot on 43 points, with 11 wins, 14 losses and 10 draws. They've hit the net 36 times and allowed 52 goals, for an ugly -16 goal differential.

Don't tell Mrs. Ecks & Bacon, but I might have done some shopping at the official Tottenham store for her upcoming birthday. When the Spurs post the W, it'll all be paid for. If they lose, we AIN'T even gonna open the box, just send it right back to England!!!
