Both pitcher's were firing on all cylinders in the opener with Cole allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run over 6 innings, while Flaherty gave up 5 hits and 2 earned runs over 5 innings. Neither pitcher was around for the decision. And as you know, my wallet will not be open.
