tyson fake
----------------------------------------------------
Las Vegas - If you're looking for a pick on the FAKE fight tonight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, it AIN'T gonna be in this space. They're calling it a boxing match, and the fight has actually been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and includes several significant conditions. The rounds are ONLY TWO minutes long and they're fighting with big fat pillows on their hands. The normal standard is 10-ounce gloves used by heavyweight fighters. Tonight, both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves. So literally, PILLOWS! And the fight will consist of eight rounds instead of the standard 10 or 12. Under normal circumstances we would think about dropping a few pennies on Tyson to KO Paul in the 1st round at 25/1 odds (shop carefully because the odds are dropping), but this spectacle is anything but normal. Even Tyson's former trainer, the great Teddy Atlas said, My only question is it real? Is it, as they say in Texas, all hat and no cattle? Is it, as some are saying, scripted, with the end result, no matter who wins, an open door to a rematch? Not quite sure because we have not seen the contract. But give Paul a ton of credit for creating a marketing MONSTER that will rake in hundred of millions and most likely attract a YUGE audience on Netflix. I'll be on the couch watching, but my wallet will be shut tight. And if you're in New York, Colorado or Pennsylvania, don't even bother because the bout is a no fly/no bet zone.
