Las Vegas - It really, really, REALLY pains me to do this, but gotta throw some cash at the Hurricanes tonight. The reason is simple, HOME COOKIN'! Carolina has pitched a PERFECTO at home so far in the playoffs, posting a SIX & OH record. And the goal differential is ENORMOUS. The 'Canes have outscored the opposition 22-7 at the PNC Arena, and that's just IMPOSSIBLE to ignore. On the other bench, the Rangers have lost four of five on the road, so it's a few pennies on Carolina.

Las Vegas - At 12-28, Cincinnati is NOT very good. At 16-24, the Cubs are almost as bad. However, after opening the season at 3-21, Cincy has won nine of the last 16. Not terrible. Also not terrible is pitcher Tyler Mahle. Like the rest of the club, his first month was awful, but his last three starts have been stellar. He has allowed just 8 hits and 5 earned runs over 18 innings which works out to a 2.50 ERA.
