Las Vegas - Skating on to the NHL ice up in Canada and gonna try the Canucks over the Senators. Vancouver stopped playing on March 24 and didn't start up again until April 18. That's almost a full month, but it doesn't seem to have affected these kids from VanCity. They opened back up with one of the best teams in the NHL, and with 61 points, THE BEST team in the North Division, the Maple Leafs. The Canucks picked up a 3-2 victory, then had the Leafs again, and posted a 6-3 W.

Las Vegas - Can you believe that Mad Max Scherzer has NOT won a game yet. His first start was just okay, 6 innings, 4 earned runs, and certainly not up to Mad Max standards. The pieces started to fall into place in his second outing, with 6 innings of work, just 3 hits and 1 earned run. His last start, against Arizona, was vintage Max, with 7 innings of work, only 2 hits and ZERO earned! Oh yea, he also posted 10 Ks. Pitching for the Cardinals, Carlos Martinez has been, well, UGLIFIED!

Las Vegas - As long as Matt Harvey is on the hill for Baltimore, we're going the OTHER WAY! Harvey used to be the 'Dark Knight' when he was in New York with the Mets, but now, he's just 'Black & Blue.' His last two years with the Mets were ugly, with a 4-10 record and a 4.86 ERA, and a 5-7 mark with a 6.70 ERA. Then he split 2018 between New York and Cincinnati, and once again, UGLY. He was 0-2 in NYC with a 7.00 ERA and 7-7 in Cincy with a 4.50 ERA.

Las Vegas - They probably ain't gonna make the playoffs but the Wizards are hitting on all cylinders and have been a superb investment the last two weeks. The Wiz have won six of the last seven straight up, but even more impressive, have covered seven of the last eight. Now that Bradley Beal is healthy and filling up the net (37 against the Pistons on Saturday) and Russell Westbrook is, well, Russell Westbrook, it's all good.

Las Vegas - Ice ice baby. Skating up to Boston and gonna use the Bruins over the Capitals. The Bs do not lose all that often and rarely get EMBARRASSED at home. But that's exactly what happened the last time these two met, back on April 11, when the Caps DESTROYED the Bruins, 8-1. Two points of interest. Boston was missing one of their top defensemen, Charlie McAvoy, but he's back on the ice. And Dan Vlader was in goal instead of Jeremy Swayman.
