Las Vegas - After cashing with Benfica yesterday in the UEFA Champions League, a resounding 5-1 win over Club Brugge, we're gonna throw some chips at Tottenham over AC Milan. These two met in Italy three weeks ago and Milan squeezed out a 1-0 victory in the first leg. Now the Spurs are ready to avenge that loss on the North London grass.
Tottenham welcomes back its coach, Antonio Conte, who was on the DL after gallbladder surgery, and he has a way of getting his kids ready, especially at home. The Spurs have won three in a row at home, hitting five goals and feeding a bagel to each of those opponents. Gimme Tottenham for the money.
Looking at the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City, and Huggy Bear is my guy in the first round. After losing to Texas Tech on February 18, West Virginia came back strong, winning three of the last four, with the only loss coming at #3 Kansas (76-74). The Mountaineers have also covered four in a row, while Tech is dealing with a three game losing streak, and, the loss of their head coach, Mark Adams. In the Texas Tech news release, it stated that Adams was suspended in relation to the use of an inappropriate, unacceptable, and racially insensitive comment last week. Corey Williams takes over the first chair, but losing the #1 X & O guy hurts. Gonna drop some cash on the kids from Morgantown on the money line.
