Las Vegas - After UConn smoked UCLA on Friday night 85-51, the early opening line was posted and it was Connecticut -2.5. Then the FLOOD GATES opened. The wise guys and every other guy POUNDED the Huskies and the line was taken off the board. They reopened UConn -5.5 and we've seen mostly 6.5s across the board. Guess people looked at the score from a meeting back on February 16 when Connecticut blew the doors off and smothered the Gamecocks, 87-58. And that was AT Columbia on Carolina's home floor. And that was the end of a 71 game home winning streak. OUCH! So, revenge is on the table. Actually, revenge is also on the table for the Huskies who lost in the National Championship Game to the Gamecocks back in 2022, 64-49. Not gonna make a pick here because we have not been locked in on women's hoops this season, but if pressed, would take UConn on the money line.
